Celina Meador is a Texas born and raised dancer and teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience in several parts of the country. Celina is certified in Ballet by the Texas Association Teacher of Dance, and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary. She has taught ages 18 months to 73+.
Celina grew up in Rockport, Texas and started dancing at the age of 7 in her small hometown dance studio and quickly caught onto the love for performance. She even donned the high school mascot! She started teaching at the age of 14 in her home studio, and by her senior year in high school, she was sought after to teach dance in a nearby town. With her background in dance, she taught herself to surf at the age of 18, and by the next year, was ranked number five in the state of Texas for women’s surfing!
After high school, yet another dance studio approached Celina to run and operate two studios simultaneously and while in college, as well as teaching in her home studio. The love of performing and traveling brought her to Orlando, Florida where she performed in character entertainment at Walt DisneyWorld for five summer seasons. She moved to Carlsbad, California for nearly 8 years, and taught at one of the top five dance studios in California among dancers and teachers that have performed and taught all over the world.
In March 2017, Celina moved to Canton, Georgia where she currently resides. Her professional career is in luxury and residential real estate with Realty One Group in Woodstock, Georgia. When not selling houses or dancing, she enjoys spending time with her son, Waylon, and boyfriend, Shane. She enjoys traveling, surfing, working out, sewing, cooking, and of course, dancing!
